BURLINGTON — The Burlington High School Building Committee approved prior minutes and confirmed submission of its Statement of Interest to the Massachusetts School Building Authority before the April 17 deadline. Chair Katherine Bond and 13 members voted 12-1 to accept March 26 meeting minutes, with Dr. Lisa Chen abstaining.

The committee identified boiler room components, HVAC systems, thermostats, and transformers as critical maintenance priorities during the waiting period for MSBA funding decisions, expected in December or January. Dr. Eric Conti noted the science lab, boiler room, and AC system as the three most important future areas.

The committee decided to hold meetings every other month rather than monthly until hearing from the MSBA.
