Board of Health approves plaza expansion at 85 Wilmington Road

Board of Health · Meeting of March 24, 2026

Burlington's Board of Health approves retail plaza expansion at 85 Wilmington Road with environmental controls. Unanimously approved was a site plan for two new buildings, an underground stormwater system, and grease trap interceptors. Environmental Engineer Christine Mathis said the project reduces stormwater flows and improves water quality.

The board also unanimously approved five variances for food service establishments: Sebastians, Game Show Battle Rooms, Waffles and Bagels, Happy Life Adult Day Health, and Project Lean Nation, each allowing operation without external grease interceptors, conditioned on certified food safety managers and maintenance logs for internal interceptors.
