Burlington High School Building Committee · Meeting of August 27, 2026

BURLINGTON — The Burlington High School Building Committee approved prior meeting minutes and confirmed a Massachusetts School Building Authority senior-staff site visit for September 24 to assess grant application alignment. Dr. Eric Conti told the committee the visit is a positive step, though not a guarantee of acceptance.

Town Administrator Danizio and Nichole Coscia will attend, along with student representative Zachary Titus. The committee will develop financial strategies for multiple outcomes: if the grant is awarded, planning will focus on May Town meeting implications; if not, a ten-year plan will be required. The MSBA will evaluate whether the application matches school conditions and assess overcrowding based on square footage per student.
