BURLINGTON — Burlington residents came together this week for "You Are Not Alone," a town-highlighted mental health awareness night, even as officials flagged a water-use notice and an area-wide mosquito-control push for the weeks ahead.

Separately, the town is participating in the East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project, with spraying and monitoring activity planned across Burlington through the rest of July, according to a town announcement.

Burlington Public Schools is highlighting Marshall Simonds Middle School students for their participation in a statewide civics challenge, part of the district's effort to connect classroom history lessons to hands-on civic engagement, according to the district's news page.
