Burlington School Committee approves six motions and amends capital warrant article.

Burlington School Committee unanimously approves eight capital and program motions on March 24. Chair Melissa Massardo oversaw approval of a $35,000 CTE Part B DESE Grant, $59,818.48 for a wireless microphone system, and out-of-state travel for the After School Program and 20 DECA students attending the National Career Development Conference in Atlanta at $1,200 per student. The committee also amended the FY'27 Warrant Article for system-wide staff and computer science printer replacement to $329,215.10 and waived cafeteria rental fees for Rainforest Reptiles, a nonprofit partner providing animals and care to the district for 25 years.

The committee voted to continue School Choice for the 2026-2027 school year with enrollment capped at ten ninth-graders, five tenth-graders, five eleventh-graders, and five twelfth-graders.
