BURLINGTON -- The Burlington Youth Basketball Association is moving ahead on its 2026-27 season, opening tryout registration for its travel program and seeking volunteer coaches.
YOUTH LEAGUES -- BYBA, a nonprofit serving grades 4 through 8, says on its website that "Tryouts for the 26-27 Travel Season is open for registration." The organization is also "currently accepting coaching applications for the 26-27 season" and is asking interested volunteers to apply. BYBA describes its focus as travel basketball for grades 4-8, adding that it works with the Burlington Recreation Department on programming for younger players and coordinates with Burlington High School basketball coaches "to build community and help middle school athletes prepare for the transition to Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) competition."
