Commission approves $10,000 to continue parking enforcement

Burlington Disability Access Commission unanimously backs $10,000 for parking enforcement through 2026. Chair Jack Cunha and the four-member commission unanimously approved the allocation for Operation Access, the town's ongoing handicap parking violation enforcement initiative, which head of Traffic Division Sergeant Creamer described as an "overwhelming success." The commission also approved $25,000 in town funding for the Sensory Trailer recreation project, targeted for completion by June 2026, and tasked ADA Coordinator Christopher Hanafin with obtaining consulting bids for a comprehensive ADA transition plan required to access certain state grants tied to the MBTA Community Preservation Plan.
