Commission defers decisions on Sears Street and A Street projects

Burlington Conservation Commission continues two Notice of Intent hearings. The Commission continued the notice of intent for 11 Sears Street (DEP #122-0731), where applicant John Muller seeks to demolish and reconstruct a house within a Bordering Vegetated Wetland buffer zone, requesting revised plans confirming groundwater conditions, basement elevation, and landscaping details before reconvening April 9. The Commission also continued the notice of intent for 7 A Street (DEP #122-715), where American Maplewood Properties, LLC proposes material storage and crushed stone parking in a riverfront and FEMA flood zone, with Chair Larry Cohen presenting historical site photos and commissioners noting preference for keeping all work outside the 100-foot riverfront buffer before continuing to April 23.
