BURLINGTON — The Burlington Conservation Commission unanimously approved a negative determination for a 15-by-30-foot above-ground pool at 5 Marion Road and a positive determination for a patio expansion at 12 Sarah Street. Chair William Boivin and Assistant Administrator Lucy Hansen advised the patio applicants that work started without required permits and instructed them to file a Notice of Intent going forward. The Commission continued three major Notice of Intent applications to July 9, 2026, including a commercial building project at 85 Wilmington Road and a multi-family residential building at 129-131 Middlesex Turnpike, while deferring a 2 Wall Street demolition and construction project to August 13.
Administrator Eileen Coleman presented proposed increases to bylaw bonds, with single-family homes at 10,000 dollars, additions at 5,000 dollars, and small residential projects at 2,500 dollars, noting amounts had not risen substantially in three decades.
