Town Meeting Electronic Voting Committee · Meeting of April 9, 2026
BURLINGTON — Electronic Voting Committee postpones presentation to 2027. Acting Chair Florence Leone, along with members Gary Kasky, Jose Sousa, Joe Bongiorno, and Roger Riggs, unanimously approved prior minutes and agreed to delay the committee's Town Meeting presentation until January or May 2027, after Town Moderator Bill Byers declined to object. Riggs reviewed electronic voting bylaws from Natick, Winchester, South Hadley, Norwood, Lexington, and Plymouth, which ranged from minimal to comprehensive detail.
The committee will seek a replacement for departing GBRC representative Sagini Ramesh, having approached Michelle Huntoon and Phyllis Neufeld as candidates.
