BURLINGTON — Electronic Voting Committee defers warrant article to January 2027. Chair Kevin Spielberger and members reviewed three electronic voting systems, with Meridia — costing approximately $5,000 per meeting or $7,000 to purchase — identified as a leading candidate featuring clickers with Yes, No, and Abstain buttons compatible with Webex. Committee member Gary Kasky will meet with Lexington Select Board Vice Chair Joe Pato on February 19 to discuss Lexington's home-grown web-based system; Town Clerk Jennifer Priest will consult Town Moderator Bill Byers about securing an extension to January 2027 rather than submitting a formal warrant article for the May meeting.
