Burlington bylaw panel defers minutes, tables bylaws-process discussion. The General Bylaw Review Committee postponed approval of prior minutes to February and tabled discussion of its bylaw-submission process pending fuller attendance at a future meeting. The committee received a presentation on a proposed Leash Law from Jennifer Priest and Jamie Jeffrey and scheduled further review.
It also discussed Michelle's proposed accountability article and agreed it should be referred to the Government Review Committee, which is already addressing related issues. To prepare for a planned Civic Expo presentation, the committee assigned work to identify the town department responsible for school and town calendars and how information is disseminated, and to update the town website with links to departments, boards, and commissions.
