Health Board Grills Eversource Over Substation Bathroom

Burlington Board of Health presses Eversource on a substation bathroom plan. Eversource plans to file with the state's Energy Facility Siting Board by year's end under a new consolidated permitting law, kicking off a 15-month review; a public meeting follows Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Environmental Engineer Christine Mathis reported about 230 cars at Saturday's household hazardous waste event, and Director of Public Health Susan Lumenello flagged unusually weak flu-clinic turnout, with only about 10 residents signed up for Wednesday's clinic.
