Housing Authority approves December warrants, advances property plans

BURLINGTON — Housing Authority approves $238,320.71 in warrants, plans appraiser search. The Board unanimously approved December invoices totaling $208,721.70 and payroll of $29,599.01, along with the November Cost Comparatives and Extraordinary Expenditure Report. Chairman Richard Howard, Vice-Chairman Jack Nagle, Treasurer Brian Curtin, Commissioner Member Eileen Sickler, and Tenant Board Member Edwin Collard were present.

The authority reports three current vacancies, two at Birchcrest Arms and one at Tower Hill, and staff will compile appraisal fees and consulting fees for Board review to select a firm to handle disposition of the landlocked property through sale or land swap.
