BURLINGTON — Human Services Committee plans Civic Expo outreach, examines local assisted living policies. The four-member panel met virtually January 8 to coordinate staffing for the January 14 Civic Expo, with Carl Foss and Shayan Bhattacherya confirming attendance. Committee members will prepare and distribute business cards and a tri-fold brochure.
Shayan Bhattacherya will reach out to David Lankford regarding advocacy to reclassify the Human Services Coordinator position to the Bureau of Youth and Family Services. The committee is also exploring fee policies at local assisted living facilities including Stonebridge and Sunrise Assisted Living, raising questions about resident costs and rights.
