ISSAC approves two policies for Select Board consideration

BURLINGTON — The Information Systems Security Advisory Committee approved two policies for submission to town leadership on January 13. The committee unanimously approved the Acceptable Use Policy and Social Media Policy by votes of 5-0-0 each, both designated for submission to the Select Board and Town Administrator. The Social Media Policy will receive further modification from the Town's Communications Coordinator.
In parallel business, the seven-member committee approved 2025 Civic Expo materials for reuse at this year's event by a vote of 6-0-0; the infrastructure refresh project continues with new phone system and switch rollout underway, and CyberForce|Q has completed work on the town's incident response plan.
