Burlington's Information Systems Security Advisory Committee turns to three new cybersecurity initiatives. The committee, meeting with 10 of 11 members, approved prior meeting minutes by a 6-0-1 vote and outlined new work on ongoing policy advocacy, cloud versus on-premises deployment for the town's Munis system, and commissioning rigorous penetration testing. The Committee Chair intends to recruit new members with corporate cybersecurity backgrounds to fill potential future vacancies.
