Burlington Library approves FY27 budget after cutting Sunday staffing. Library Director Mike Wick reduced the budget to a 5.75 percent increase through approximately $24,350 in cuts, including a $13,700 salary reduction from cutting Reference Desk Sunday staffing from two to one person, with trustees voting unanimously 6-0. The board also unanimously allocated $8,000 from LIGMEG and state aid for staff development and approved $2,700 for four circulating laptops.
