SCHOOLS Marshall Simonds Middle School welcomes its incoming sixth graders Tuesday evening for the third of four "Meet/Greet" orientation sessions, part of the district's run-up to the new school year. Burlington Public Schools' fall calendar continues to take shape, with staff professional development days scheduled Aug. 25 through 27 ahead of the Aug. 31 start of classes for grades 1 through 12.
