Moulton Makes Unannounced Visit To Burlington ICE Facility

BURLINGTON — U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton conducted an unannounced visit to the ICE field office in Burlington on Thursday, Aug. 20, and released observations from the visit afterward, according to a statement from his office. The trip comes as questions continue over how much access town officials themselves have to inspect conditions inside the facility.

TOWN HALL Moulton, who represents Massachusetts' Sixth Congressional District, toured the ICE field office in Burlington on Aug. 20 and shared his findings from inside the building, his office said in a release. The visit follows scrutiny over the town's own authority to inspect conditions at the facility, a story Burlington Patch covered earlier this week.
