Edward C. Francis III, 61, of Burlington, died June 21, 2026. He was born February 5, 1965 in Watertown, Massachusetts. He is survived by his significant other, Laurie Bonanno; his children, Alexandra Francis (Jerry Vargas) of Cornelius, NC, and Edward C. Francis IV of Billerica; his stepchildren, Vanessa Bonanno (Luke Harer) of Westford, Alexandra Bonanno of Burlington, and TJ Bonanno of Woburn; his grandchildren, James Francis Donovan, Walker Francis Vargas, and Winnie Francis Vargas; and his brothers, Mark J. Francis of Groton, Paul J. Francis (Susan) of Westfield, NJ, and Richard M. Francis (Susanna) of London, England. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward C. Francis Jr. and Jeanette T. Francis (MacDonald). Visitation was held Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., Burlington. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday, June 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret's Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington, followed by a committal service at 11:30 AM at St. Bernard's Cemetery, 498 Bedford St., Concord. Joan Learned Farr, 92, of Burlington, died June 21, 2026. She was born September 2, 1933 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. She is survived by her children, Debra Windoloski of Florence, MA, David Farr of Belmont, NH, Dennis Farr of Ayer, MA, Karen Arsenault of Milford, MA, and Kathleen Kelly of Reading, MA; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Farr, and her son Kevin. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., Lexington. Memorial donations may be made to the Lexington Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, designated for Trust House, a residential program for women veterans, per the family's wishes.
