BURLINGTON — Planning Board subcommittee reviews 0 Summit Drive rezoning updates and environmental matters. Scott Weiss presented revised designs from Symmes, Maini & Mckee Associates, including widened sidewalks and multi-use paths, with the Burlington Housing Authority expressing openness to path crossing its property. On environmental conditions, a Licensed Site Professional confirmed the site is suitable for development, with highly contaminated materials previously consolidated into the for-sale units area with eight to twelve feet of soil cover.
Planning Director Elizabeth Bonventre expressed concern the May Town Meeting timeline may be ambitious, while Planning Board Member Barbara L'Heureux recommended delaying to a future Town Meeting, arguing the process has been rushed.
