BURLINGTON — Public Arts Committee reports Select Board unanimously endorsed mural and electrical box projects. The committee discussed funding constraints and outlined multiple strategies, including a potential online crowdfunding campaign for Dream Manifesting or Edwin the Dragon, follow-up outreach by Bob Buckley to personal contacts and the Chamber of Commerce, and discussions between Barbara L'Heureux and the Town Administrator about placing Public Arts under a department budget. A student artist will outline the mural during her May internship, with L'Heureux coordinating timing with Recreation, and the May library art show will open at noon.
