Public Arts Committee shifts fundraising priority to Edwin the Dragon.

Public Arts Committee · Meeting of February 11, 2026

BURLINGTON — Public Arts Committee redirects fundraising to Edwin the Dragon purchase. Meeting via Webex on February 11, the five-member committee unanimously voted to raise funds for Edwin the Dragon, reversing a prior commitment to Dream Manifesting. The group tasked Barbara L'Heureux with coordinating the next painted electrical box project near the police station and assigned George Ratkevich to solicit student input on the Call to Artists selections.

For the mural project, the committee adopted a requirement that student coordinators be accompanied by an adult PAC member at all times, with participation limited to ages 14 and above.
