Burlington School Committee approves 2026-2027 calendar and student surveys. Chair Melissa Massardo, joined by members Jeremy Brooks and Meghan Nawoichik, approved Draft 3 of the 2026-2027 school calendar setting grades 1-12 start date as August 31, 2026, with kindergarten beginning September 8. The committee also unanimously approved the Naviance Self-Discovery Tools for grades 8-11, the Student Interest Form titled "Help Us Build Your Crew," the BHS School-Wide Grading Policy Student Feedback Form, and High School Survey Questions for Grants, all with opt-out provisions.
All votes carried 3-0 or 5-0. Katherine Bond and Christine Monaco were absent. Fox Hill School Building Committee bids closed February 10 with review scheduled for February 24.
