School Committee approves two policies and sets 2026-27 meeting calendar.

Burlington School Committee unanimously approves policies on exterior door security and middle school exploration. Chair Katherine Bond, Vice Chair Meghan Nawoichik, Melissa Massardo, Christine Monaco, and Jeremy Brooks voted to adopt an amended Policy ECA requiring exterior doors remain closed and locked during school hours, with authorization language added to clarify monitoring responsibility; they also unanimously approved Policy IHAIA following revisions. Superintendent Dr.
Eric Conti reported that the Ways and Means Subcommittee will meet April 29 to prepare the capital budget for Town Meeting on May 11, and the committee scheduled the 2026-27 meeting calendar for the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, with July meetings discretionary.
