BURLINGTON — Select Board unanimously approves firefighter paramedic appointment and reallocates disability funding. Fire Chief Jim Browne recommended Greg Richardson for the firefighter paramedic position, effective January 13, 2026; the board waived the standard 15-day waiting period. Members Michael Espejo, James Tigges, Joseph Morandi, Sarah Cawley, and Nicholas Priest voted to approve disability access committee funding reallocation for a sensory trailer and unanimously approved general license renewals for Subway and TY Sushi.
Warrant articles 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, and 10 for the January Town Meeting passed unanimously; articles 11 and 13 passed 4 to 1.
