Select Board approves FY 2027 budgets, staffing moves, and liquor licenses.

BURLINGTON — The Burlington Select Board unanimously approved FY 2027 operating budgets spanning public works, utilities, administration, employee benefits, and debt service. Chairman Michael Espejo and the five-member board also approved the DPW appointment of Theresa Dunbar effective April 6 and two fire promotions: David Rosenberger to Lieutenant and Craig Callahan to Captain. The board unanimously granted a 10,000 dollar transfer to the Disabilities Access Commission for Operation Access, which has issued more than 400 citations since 2025.

Two new liquor licenses were approved for restaurant operators at the Burlington Mall, and the board signaled support for a mixed-use housing development zoning warrant article slated for May Town Meeting.
