BURLINGTON — The Burlington Select Board approved a warrant article for a historical West School storage shed project on a 3-1 vote, advancing a proposal that has stalled since 2022. Member Joseph Morandi moved approval, seconded by Vice-Chairman Sarah Cawley. Town Administrator John Danizio and Historical Committee members including Peter Coppola, Joyce Fay, and Wayne Higden presented information indicating Shawsheen may fund the shed; the full requested amount has been budgeted as backup.

The board noted a parking agreement with St. Malachy's will be required and suggested reconsidering if Shawsheen cannot commit to participation.
