BURLINGTON — Ways and Means approves eight articles for January Town Meeting totaling roughly $2.8 million. Chair Doug Davison and the committee voted unanimously to transfer $2,375,037 from Free Cash to the Water Stabilization Fund for the nearly completed MWRA connection project, along with seven additional articles including $100,000 for the Ways and Means Reserve Fund and $43,148.40 for Lyft rideshare transportation. A $25,000 Recreation Sensory Trailer article passed 8-4-0 after concerns over timing and vendor quotes; the committee also voted 11-0-1 to authorize sale of the small surplus property at 0 Polk Street, assessed at $15,600.
