BURLINGTON — Ways and Means Town Hall 1 Subcommittee unanimously approves FY27 operating budgets for six departments. The committee backed Accounting at $585,061 (3.75 percent increase), Human Resources at $274,607 (5.74 percent increase with new director hire), Legal level-funded at $230,000, Select Board and Town Administrator at $1,186,860 (3.04 percent increase), Other Legislative at $11,017 (level funded), and Town Meeting and Reports at $30,435 (1.87 percent increase). The subcommittee also approved $200,000 for the Ways and Means Reserve Fund and discussed a multi-year transition to a Water and Sewer enterprise fund.
