BURLINGTON — Ways and Means Committee approves 14 department budgets totaling roughly $4.2 million. Chair Doug Davison and the 14-member committee voted unanimously on budgets ranging from Historical Commission at $9,205 to Technology at $946,751, with most increases driven by staff step advancement and software upgrades. Roger Riggs and John Iler secured an amendment reducing Capital Improvements from $800,000 to $700,000 to allow further discussion on funding mechanism.

Town Administrator John Danizio reported the Police Station project is under construction and the town may bond approximately $35 million in remaining costs this spring.
