BURLINGTON — Ways and Means Committee approves FY27 budget framework targeting $250-$350 tax increase. Assistant Town Administrator Patrick Lawlor presented guidelines stepping down operating budget growth from 4.5 percent to 4.25 percent for FY27, declining to 3.75 percent by FY29, while accommodated accounts (covering debt and insurance) rise to 8 percent due to police station and Fox Hill projects. Certified free cash totals $27.8 million; committee noted no structural deficit is projected through FY31 and approved January 21 minutes 10-0-1.
