BURLINGTON — The Ways and Means DPW/Recreation Subcommittee unanimously approved five capital budget requests totaling $560,000, pending updated documentation. Subcommittee members Roger Riggs and John Iler backed the Simonds Park Renovation and Improvement Design at $200,000, Athletic Field Improvements at $200,000, and Fencing, Walkway, and Tree Replacement at $50,000, each conditioned on missing cost and scope details. A $60,000 Maintenance Equipment Replacement for a Bobcat and mower attachment was approved without conditions.
The Renovate and Repurpose Ceramics Room proposal at $50,000 was not voted on pending a revised layout diagram and appliance estimates.
