BURLINGTON — Ways and Means TH2 Subcommittee unanimously endorses three capital articles totaling $75,000. The subcommittee voted 2-0 to support Article 3-2, allocating $30,000 to replace aging fitness equipment at Recreation that has been in daily use for more than 10 years. Article 3-3 received unanimous backing for $20,000 to fund appraisals and legal work for conservation land acquisition, down from an initial $40,000 request.
Article 3-4, also approved unanimously, provides $25,000 for hazard mitigation work on conservation land, reduced from $50,000 to fit budget constraints.
