Ways & Means approves building security, accessibility improvements

BURLINGTON — Ways and Means subcommittee backs $650K for building security and cable television support. The panel unanimously approved $100,000 to assess and implement accessibility and security improvements at municipal buildings, including a shift from key-based access to FOB card systems for enhanced security and control. The subcommittee also authorized up to $550,000 from the cable enterprise fund to support BCAT operations and ratified spending limits for nine revolving funds at unchanged FY26 levels.
Town Manager John Danizio and Budget Director Rachel Leonardo presented the recommendations.
