Board of Appeals · Meeting of September 2, 2026
BURLINGTON — The Burlington Zoning Board of Appeals approved two special sign permits on September 2 and deferred a third variance hearing. The board unanimously approved Pressed Cafe Burlington LLC's request for a 42.5-by-43-inch logo sign at 200 District Ave, meeting lighting requirements. Activate Burlington LLC's six-sign package for 90-92 Middlesex Tpk was approved 5-0 after applicant Ben Anderson agreed to remove one highway icon sign and combine two others; the board voted 0-5 to deny the icon sign separately.
A variance hearing for a dog house over stairs at 12 Sarah St, brought by Flavio Pinto, was continued to September 15 pending additional building department details and conservation review.
