Burlington Town Offices Close July 3 Ahead of Independence Day Holiday

Burlington heads into the July 4th holiday stretch with town offices set to close Thursday, July 3, and a dangerous heat wave forecast to bear down on Massachusetts through the end of the week.

Town offices will be closed Thursday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day. Normal hours — Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. — resume the following week. Residents with time-sensitive permitting or payment needs should plan accordingly before the long weekend.
