Burlington Hockey and Skating Association plans to bring back its supplemental team program after a state-title season.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Burlington Hockey and Skating Association (BHSA) says that after "a successful 2025-26 season in which Burlington won a 12U State Championship, and the 10U team made a semi final appearance," the organization "is planning to bring back the game only/supplemental teams for 2026-27." According to BHSA, the supplemental program is "designed to provide BHSA players with additional competitive opportunities through game-only select teams" for players already rostered on another full-time or club team, with each team playing "approximately 35 games per season within a highly competitive division of the Valley Hockey League" and entry into the Massachusetts Hockey State Tournament each spring. BHSA also said it is "looking for new board" help "in the area of sponsorships/fundraising."

Separately, the Burlington Youth Basketball Association (BYBA) says its "25-26 Travel Season is open for registration" and that the organization "is currently accepting coaching applications for the 25-26 season." BYBA describes itself as focused on "travel basketball for athletes in grades 4-8" while working with the Burlington Recreation Department on programming for younger players and coordinating with Burlington High School coaches.
