BURLINGTON --

HIGH SCHOOL -- Burlington High School hockey has named its 2025-2026 team captains, according to the team's website, and registration is open for the program's alumni game.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Burlington Hockey and Skating Association (BHSA) is collecting information from families interested in a new middle school hockey program, saying it hopes to field teams "at 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade levels" with games "typically once a weekend, usually later on Sunday nights," depending on interest. Registration is also open for the group's Jr. Devils program, which BHSA describes as "where your hockey journey begins," with the program set to begin "the first week of April." BHSA has posted its 2026-27 season schedule and released its Fall 2026-27 practice schedule, which began the week of August 31; new Tuesday skills sessions for Mite, Squirt, Peewee and Bantam players start this week, on September 15, alongside previously scheduled Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday sessions. Separately, BHSA said it is "looking for new board [members] in the area of sponsorships/fundraising."
