Committee approves survey postcard mailing to all households

BURLINGTON — Committee approves resident survey postcard. The Burlington Government Review Committee voted 10-1 to authorize mailing a survey postcard to all town households as part of its ongoing governance review, with Myrna Saltman opposing on cost and timing grounds. The committee received a presentation from Collins Center consultants Patricia Lloyd and Mel Kleckner on executive branch structure, supervision, hiring procedures, committee appointments, budget development, and personnel policies.

Chair Betsey Hughes requested that future discussions focus on specific governance recommendations. The postcard mailing is subject to available town funding.
