Burlington conservation commission approves Glenwood pool removal with rain garden mitigation. The commission issued a negative conditional determination for the project at 4 Glenwood Street proposed by Shawn McSheffrey, requiring installation of two rain gardens to manage stormwater and reduce impervious area by 600 square feet. The project reduces the footprint through demolition of an existing pool and replacement with landscaping designed for 100-year storm events.
The commission also continued its review of American Maplewood properties LLC's material storage proposal at 7 A Street to March 26, warning the applicant of penalties if a revised plan is not submitted.
